Why We Don't Stream or Offer Digital

People sometimes ask why we continue to offer our programs on CD and DVD format instead of through a streaming service.

The simple answer is that we're human. Until every computer, operating system, browser, and internet connection works seamlessly together, we'd rather spend our time creating great products or dancing rather than troubleshooting digital streaming issues.

Many of our customers are teachers who appreciate being able to hand a physical copy directly to their school or library. A DVD or CD is easy to share within the guidelines of their purchase and doesn't depend on internet access or account logins.

DJ's and music lovers like our CD format because physical media also provides much higher audio and video quality and serves as a reliable backup that you truly own. You don't have to worry about buffering, internet outages, or a streaming service changing its policies.

DVD and CD players are inexpensive—often available for around $25—and your purchase remains under your control. There are no monthly subscriptions or increasing streaming fees to worry about. You can also copy your disc to your computer for convenient personal use, giving you the flexibility of digital access while still owning a permanent "back up" copy.

In many ways, it's like owning a favorite book. There's something satisfying about having a physical copy that you can keep, use whenever you want, and know will still be there years from now.
