Dare to Dance Homeschool Classes & Events

At Dare to Dance, we believe that dance is not just an art form, but a way of life. Our classes are designed to help students develop a love and appreciation for dance while also developing fitness, social skills, and confidence. We are known for our ability to design a class that fits the age and ability levels of attendees. 

Social dance includes dances students perform at their school dance, a party, a wedding, or event.  It is not to be mistaken for "performance dance" such as ballet.  You can choose between "prom" dancing, line dancing, popular "party" dances, square dancing, folk dancing, old school dancing, partner dancing, ballroom dancing, and/or country dancing. All classes include appropriate music and social dance etiquette skills.  We also provide Family Fun Nights and can create a school dance or prom for you.

We tailor each class schedule to fit your group's preferences, including the days and times that work best for you. Programs are available on a daily, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis. We can come to your location or host your group at a church, community center, or home. We travel within a 3-hour radius of Georgetown, Texas. Because we don't have the overhead costs of maintaining a brick-and-mortar facility, we're able to offer high-quality programs at affordable rates.

Christy Lane developed the Dare to Dance program 20 years ago to meet the growing demand for social dancing in the educational school systems.  While attending a recent homeschool convention, she connected with numerous homeschool parents.
